Rules And Guidelines
Our approach to rules is intentionally light and lax. This general lack of strictness is designed to foster open dialogue and allow users to freely express opinions and viewpoints.
However, this is a privilege that depends on forum health. If the community’s well-being declines, stricter rules and stricter enforcement can be implemented at any time, without prior notice. By using this forum, you agree to abide by these rules and guidelines.
Rules
Violation of these rules will result in muting or banning, potentially without warning.
1. No SPAM
- Irrelevant, automated, or promotional spam will result in an automatic mute.
- Moderators will review the content. If we are certain the post is spam, it will result in a permanent ban without further notice.
- Note: Posting relevant links to resources about neuroleptics/LAIs (e.g., research, articles, personal websites) is not considered spam.
2. No NSFW Content
- Explicitly NSFW, sexually graphic content, NSFW links, or excessively crude language will result in a short-term mute and a high probability of a permanent ban upon review.
- Important Exception: Legitimate discussions of medical side effects, such as sexual dysfunction from LAIs, are allowed. We distinguish between graphic content and the honest sharing of medical experiences, frustration, or agitation.
3. No Promotion of Dangerous Substances or Practices
- Do not post or promote dangerous drugs, substances, or health remedies without providing detailed, accurate information on safety, dosage, and application.
- Content promoting potentially fatal or permanently harmful practices will be automatically assessed and will likely lead to an immediate mute and ban.
- Illicit substances and psychotropics that offer no verifiable health benefit while carrying severe risks will be condemned.
- We are alert to tactics that insinuate or encourage trying harmful substances. Do not mention taking a substance without thorough medical context.
- Community Duty: If you see a post promoting, asking about, or encouraging the use of harmful substances, contact an admin immediately. In some cases, to preserve dialogue, a post may be left visible with a prominent warning.
4. Treat Everyone With Respect
- Harassment, discrimination, hostility, threatening others with harm, doxxing, or abuse may result in a warning and temporary ban.
Note: We prioritize open expression and believe that silencing people only buries the real frustrations driving them. We need a place to have intimate discussions with our fellow human beings. Venting is allowed and understood. However, direct threats against our own members, or others are not permitted—they undermine our goal of uniting people, spreading awareness, and finding solutions. However, posts we want to prevent can get through the automated moderation due to the LLM’s lack of discretion, determination, and lack of context (as it only sees a few posts, doesn’t experience what we experience). We have light moderation because we do not want to drive users away who feel this site does not allow them to be heard, that it is just another platform similar to the rest. If you see a threatening post, please contact the admin with your concerns so we can address the issue directly. If your post was removed for venting, contact us. Tell us why it should stay. This site exists for free expression. We are not afraid of freedom of speech. We mean that.
Guidelines
These guidelines shape our community culture. Violations may start with a warning, but repeated or severe breaches will result in mutes or bans. To maintain forum health, these guidelines may be enforced more strictly at any time.
1. Forum Scope & Respect
This forum primarily exists for discussion about Long-Acting Injectables (LAIs), specifically antipsychotics. The dialogue often centers on their harmful effects and critiques of psychiatric practices perceived as illegitimate or malicious. While other viewpoints are not banned, they must be presented with thorough reasoning and respect. Posts that appear disingenuous, deliberately inflammatory, or dismissive of the community’s core experiences will be acted upon.
2. Speak From Experience
This is a space primarily for individuals who have direct personal experience with LAIs. Please speak from your own experience. Avoid speaking authoritatively on behalf of others unless they are genuinely unable to do so themselves, as this can be seen as disingenuous, disrespectful, and disruptive to those who have lived through the experience.
3. Engage in Good Faith
We require all users to engage with sincerity and honesty. The following are examples of behavior that violates this principle and harms the community:
- Promoting psychiatric drugs in a manner that contradicts widely recognized evidence of their significant risks.
- Downplaying or minimizing the severe and permanent side effects reported by members.
- Posting narratives that appear fabricated to sway opinion, including impersonating satisfied users, concerned family members, or other roles to create false social proof.
- Using discredited or misleading theories to explain away drug-induced injury.
- Making posts that primarily serve to defend or apologize for systemic practices the community critiques.
- Any post whose apparent intent is to manipulate sentiment, create false legitimacy, or persuade individuals to accept interventions they fear or know to be harmful.
- Don’t make suicide ideation a frequent topic. We’re all here because we understand this struggle, and sharing your pain is part of exposing what’s happening to us, feel free to vent. Just try to keep the focus on healing and fighting back. We need you in this fight.
4. Your Health is Your Responsibility – A Final Warning
DO NOT take any supplement, food, medicine, or remedy mentioned on this forum without conducting your own thorough research and due diligence. Peer suggestions are not medical advice. While we utilize automated tools to help fact-check for dangerous information, these systems are not foolproof. You bear full responsibility for your health decisions. You agree to report any potentially dangerous consumable advice to the moderators immediately.
Appeals & Contact
If you believe an action (such as a mute or ban) was applied to your account in error, you may appeal by contacting an admin via Telegram. Please be patient, as the admin has a busy work schedule and reviews appeals as time permits. Provide your username and a concise explanation.
Moderator Applications
We are occasionally seeking responsible community members to assist with moderation. Moderators are tasked with upholding the Rules and Guidelines listed here, along with additional, private operational guidelines provided upon appointment.
If you are a long-standing, good-faith member interested in contributing to the health and safety of the forum, please contact the admin via Telegram to express your interest.
