Several individuals have approached me with a request to archive the testimonials our community has accumulated over the past decade. Their concern is clear: they do not want the extensive writings, discussions, and documented struggles related to the effects of long-acting injectables (LAIs) to be forgotten.
I agreed. The discussions and articles we have generated must not be lost, tampered with, hidden, or allowed to vanish over time. To that end, I am creating this thread for the systematic preservation of user testimonial evidence and empirical sources concerning treatment with antipsychotics—particularly LAIs such as Invega Sustenna, Abilify Maintena, Zyprexa Relprevv, and others.
This initiative is important. I have personally observed negative drug reviews disappear from established review sites. This is not a technical necessity; the capacity to store millions of reviews exists at negligible cost. Storage overload is not a valid excuse. The practice of allowing users to post, only to remove those posts months later under vague policy justifications, is unethical. This is especially egregious when sites like Google continue to prioritize those platforms based on their E-E-A-T criteria, despite the impermanence and manipulation of the content they host.
I have already completed an archive of the “Coming off Invega” topic from bluelight.org. The entire discussion, spanning over 12 years, was preserved by capturing a screenshot of every page. The total data for this comprehensive capture is only 10GB; the text alone would be a mere 2GB. This demonstrates conclusively that server resources are not a limiting factor.
Over time, I will add more archives, including complete captures of drug review sites. If the community can identify other sources that should be scanned and preserved, please bring them to my attention.
I also hope that a lot of this text will now be picked up by web-crawlers and llm crawlers to be included in training or informational data. So that AI models provide accurate answers based on the real testimonies of many people who have been effected by LAIs. 😀

At the very least, this material should be the subject of research papers. “Quite a few researchers have used data from internet forums to investigate psychiatric drug harm. This is an FDA-recognized method called ‘social media listening‘ (SML) or netnography, used to capture real-world patient experiences that often go unreported in clinical settings.” A few examples:
- Adele Framer, founder of the peer-support forum SurvivingAntidepressants.org (where she posted under the username “Altostrata”), in 2020 co-authored (with Michael P. Hengartner, Lukas Schulthess and Anders Sorensen) a research study published in the journal Therapeutic Advances in Psychopharmacology titled “Protracted withdrawal syndrome after stopping antidepressants: a descriptive quantitative analysis of consumer narratives from a large internet forum,” which analyzed 69 individual reports of protracted withdrawal (also called prolonged antidepressant withdrawal or PAWS) sourced from patient narratives posted on her forum: https://doi.org/10.1177/2045125320980573

Nevertheless, this study is the first to apply SML to understand TD, “successfully capturing real-world, unsolicited patient experiences that can be missed in structured clinical settings.”
